Mussel Barge Snapper Safaris

School of Mines Museum

The Museum is housed in the old School of Mines building (1897). The old jailhouse (1905) is to the rear of the site. Displays include fascinating relics and artifacts both European and Maori dating from the earliest days of settlement in the region.
