Twin Tides Cafe and Bar Tairua
The historic ferry SS Ngoiro now sand-berthed at the base of Paku Hill, is Tairua's newest licensed cafe and bar. The cafe's opening hours* for breakfast and lunch are Thurs to Mon 7.30pm to 3.30pm. The bar's open* 4pm to 8 pm Thurs to Sun serving wines, beers and spirits and light finger food. *(From Christmas until the end of January we are open every day) Twin Tides is also a unique venue for weddings and functions. The Top Deck caters for 80 seated wedding guests. The Lower Deck, for more intimate special celebrations, caters for up to 50 guests.
